"Trainer has been collecting the salt and pepper shakers for so long that she can’t recall why she began. “I wish I could remember who started me but I don’t,” she said.
“I was working at the thrift shop for Delaware County Hospital,” she said, explaining that once her co-workers knew of her collection they would set aside any unusual salt and pepper shakers that came in so that she would have the first chance to purchase them. That way, her collection grew inexpensively. “I just tried to get the odd ones.”"
