Bertoia's last Kaufman sale. Beginning at 4 p.m. Friday and resuming at 10 a.m. Saturday, Bertoia Auctions will offer the fifth and "Final Lap" of its liquidation of the Donald Kaufman toy collection, consisting of more than 900 lots, mostly pressed-steel and cast-iron vehicles and pedal cars. Most of Friday's 250 lots will sell in the three-figure range, according to the $55 auction catalog, which must be purchased to attend the sale, but is accessible online at www.bertoiaauctions.com.
Among the top items in Saturday's session are an Arcade "White" moving van ($8,000 to $10,000); a Murray Jordan pedal car in mint condition ($10,000 to $12,000); and a professionally restored American National deluxe Packard coupe pedal car ($20,000 to $35,000).

Baums at Alderfer. At noon Tuesday at the Alderfer Auction Center, 501 Fairgrounds Rd., Hatfield (NJ), items from the estate of Lura McKinney Long will be featured in a sale also being carried online at www.ArtfactLive.com.

Baseball, Stinson belongings. At 3 p.m. Wednesday, Wilson's Auction Gallery, 344 Valleybrook Rd., Chester Heights, will offer a single-owner "Golden Age of Baseball" collection, including vintage World Series tickets, correspondence from baseball celebrities such as Connie Mack, and a team ball from the 1943 World Series champions, the New York Yankees. Finally, a single-owner collection of a different sort will be offered beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday, when Slosberg Auctioneers & Associates, under the order of the U.S. District Court, will offer the contents of the several residences of Robert Stinson Jr., at the gallery at 2501 E. Ontario St. Last year, Stinson, accused of running a Ponzi scheme, agreed to a freeze of his assets.

The 800 lots include a 2010 Mercedes GL350 with 4,513 miles, televisions, DVDs, video games, computers, cameras, and an Onkyo home theater, a 1960 Steinway Model S baby grand piano, and acoustic and electric guitars. Preview is from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to sale time Sunday.
